With over 32 years of experience as a licensed CPA, Teresa D. Johnson is not only the driving force behind TDJ CPA but also a passionate advocate for empowering people and organizations to achieve their financial goals. Teresa’s journey began with the City of Vancouver, where she served as an Accountant before joining the Washington State Auditor’s Office. There, she refined her expertise in financial statement assurance, compliance auditing, and federal single audits.

Seeing the need for specialized support in governmental accounting, Teresa founded TDJ CPA with a clear mission: to help local governments excel in financial reporting, navigate complex regulatory environments, and achieve excellence. Her vision extended beyond merely providing accounting services. She sought to create a firm that values integrity, collaboration, and the long-term success of its clients.

As the CEO and President of TDJ CPA, Teresa has built a firm recognized for its deep expertise in governmental accounting and reporting.
